Route description
A week on a sailing yacht with children is not as hard as it seems. The kids will love the boat and the route has small distance sailing passages. You will meet others like you, a flotilla of parents with kids gathers open-minded people with adventure spirit and for sure you will become good friends with most of them.
The Ionian route has one the most beautiful beaches in the world (Myrtos Beach in Kefalonia), lots of bays for water fun activities and some small picturesque islands like Kastos, Ithaka, Kalamos.
Explore the secluded areas and peaceful towns of the beautiful Ionian Islands. Crystal clear water, small traditional villages and natural bays – a real paradise for you and your children to live in for a week.

Activities
An activities fee of €80 per family will be payable in the marina only, and only if these activities are organized.
For this edition, we’ll take into account the preferences of all families joining KidSailing. A daily program of activities will be arranged only if there is clear majority interest. We will ask for your preference at the time of booking.

Treasure Hunt
Ahoy Ahoy! Can sailing be fun without a treasure hunt? Not for the kids! Team work is the key to gather clues, solve riddles and figure out the mystery of the KidSailing Treasure. Just like true little pirates! Arrrrrr!
Kids Pool Party
What do you call multiple yachts sandwiched together along rocky shores? Two words: POOL PARTY! Inflatable swans and unicorns are the fun providers while you enjoy some great family time in your own natural private pools.
Arts & Crafts
Let your kid’s inner Picasso come to life with our arts and crafts activities. Colors are always fun to play with, whether you’re using a brush or your fingers. Nothing beats a good, creative, colorful mess!
Fun Academy
We put the FUN in sailing, so every stop is an excuse to play. Various interactive activities will keep your kids constantly entertained and active. Whether it`s face painting, story time, balloon races, kids cooking class, we’ve got your little one covered.
Disco Kids
How about some boogie-woogie? Get on the dance floor with the kids and let them teach you the latest dance moves on their special evening. You know what they say: practice makes perfect.
For this event, our main recommendation is to charter a full boat (with or without a Capetan skipper), together with your family or close friends. The experience is usually much more relaxed and easier to manage when the crew already know each other.
We understand that this is not always possible, so we also offer the option to book cabins.
Cabin-Booking Important Info
Please keep in mind:
- you will share the boat with at least one other family with children
- onboard dynamics can be unpredictable, especially between children or between different parenting styles
- differences in pace, expectations, and daily routines on board may arise
By choosing a cabin booking, you acknowledge and accept these aspects, as well as the openness to be part of a mixed crew.
We will do our best to match families as well as possible, but we cannot guarantee perfect compatibility between participants.
Children are counted as one spot each, regardless of age!
