What to expect?
Watermelon is a carefully crafted event based on a recipe tested and improved for the last 12 years – always with a few surprise ingredients sprinkled on top!
The sailing: spend every day and night on a quest to find the best spots to swim, jump, dive, dance, eat or just sit around – that’s okay too. The ride itself is half the fun – we have the best team of skippers anyone could ever wish for and we just love to sail and build rafts. Who said parking isn’t fun?
The party: we are always ready to party – just give us some music, some speakers, a couple of drinks and a crowd – and we have all of them! And we have nicecream.fm on board. They bring the DJs with just the right cocktail of music for every situation – perfect for the weather, never the same and never boring. Just have a listen! ︎
The people: all of the above means nothing without the people, so we need to make sure that we have the best people – we prepare all the ingredients, but you can help too: you can assist the skippers, visit other crews, talk to the people, start a dance and step out of your comfort zone. Tip: It always helps to bring a drink!
How to get there
Portorosa Marina, Sicily You can catch a flight to the nearest airport in Catania or the farthest one in Palermo. We recommend using search engines like SkyScanner, Momondo, Expedia for the best deals.
Taxi
We can arrange a private transfer from the airport to Portorosa Marina . The prices depend on the number of people and the airport you are arriving at. Prices are around 30-50 Euro/pers.
Bus/Train
